Booking policy

Booking Policy – The Cocoabean Company
We can’t wait to welcome you! Here are a few helpful bits to make your visit run smoothly:

Bookings & Payments
Bookings must be made in advance and via our online booking system. Full payment is required at the time of booking to secure your spaces.

Arrival Time
Play - Standard Play tickets are valid all day. You can arrive and leave whenever you wish, within the opening hours. 
Workshops - All day access to the play areas is included with all workshop tickets, regardless of your workshop start time so you can arrive anytime from when we open. BUT please arrive no later than 10 minutes before your workshop is due to start. It is your responsibility to arrive in plenty of time for your workshop so please plan accordingly. Workshop start times cannot be delayed under any circumstances so in the event of a late arrival you may forfeit your booking (with no refund) if another suitable workshop is not available that day.

Workshops
All participants must have a valid ticket. It is your responsibility to book the appropriate tickets for your group. If you have booked a workshop (or other ticket) that is not suitable for your group, you may not be able to make changes on the day and you may forfeit your booking (with no refund). 

  • "Children Only" sessions are strictly for children - adults are not permitted into the workshop room. Do not book this session if your child will not enter the workshop unaccompanied.
  • "Family" sessions are for groups of mixed adults and children. All participants must have a ticket to take part. 
  • "Additional Support" sessions allow one supporting adult per participant, to enter the workshop and assist free of charge. The supporting adults does not make chocolate. Additional adults tickets can be purchased for a fee (subject to availability). 

Play Area Access
Parents/Guardians are responsible for the behaviour and well being of the child in the play areas at ALL TIMES.

Behaviour & Safety
We reserve the right to refuse entry or remove guests whose behaviour is unsafe or disruptive, without refund.


Gift card terms

  • Valid for 1 year from purchase date
  • Gift cards are redeemable online
  • Gift cards cannot be exchanged for cash
  • Gift cards are not refundable
  • Gift cards are not replaceable if lost or stolen

Cancellation policy

  • We offer free cancellation up to 72 hours before your booking (minus booking fee). 
  • Bookings made within 72 hours of when you are due to visit are non-refundable but we will do our best to accomodate amendments where possible.
  • No refunds, reschedules or voucher equivalents will be provided in the case of no-show regardless of the circumstances.
  • In rare circumstances, we may need to amend or cancel a booking. If this happens, we will offer an alternative date or a full refund.
