Hear first-hand accounts from veterans who served in tanks
and armoured vehicles in war zones. Chaired by the Curator at Bodmin Keep the panel will include:
· Dickie Trant (Museum Chair) who served on
Scimitars and Main Battle Tanks in Kuwait, Iraq and the Balkans.
· Merlin Hanbury-Tenison, author of Our Oaken
Bones, whose service in Afghanistan included a notable incident involving a
Scimitar.
Before and after the talk take the opportunity to view the Scimitar up close, speak to
our volunteers, and walk around our historic site.
