First appearances. Full runs. Key issues. Obscurities. Graphic novels. Affordable finds. Serious collector pieces. And plenty of books you probably didn't know you needed until you saw them.

At 4pm we'll be giving away the trade secrets. We'll talk through how we actually buy and sell comics, what we've learned from doing it, the successes we've had and the mistakes we've made along the way. We'll show off some of our favourite finds, explain what we look for when buying collections, talk about value and rarity, and answer your questions about the ins and outs of the comic business.Whether you want to start buying and selling yourself, sharpen your collecting knowledge or simply find out what happens behind the scenes, come armed with questions.

Got comics sitting at home and no idea what they're worth?Bring them along. We'll take a look, explain what you've got and talk you through how and why comics are valued. And if you're looking to sell, there'll also be an opportunity to sell books from your collection directly to us.

Come to Comic Day at the Cartoon Museum and get involved.
