About Women's Basketball Hall of Fame

The Women’s Basketball Hall of Fame was established in June 1999 in Knoxville, Tennessee. The 35,000-square-foot facility was built by Bell Construction. It is the only facility of its kind dedicated to all levels of women’s basketball. In 2025, the Women’s Basketball Hall of Fame celebrated its 26th anniversary and inducted seven new members, bringing the total number of inductees to 206. The mission of the Women's Basketball Hall of Fame is to honor, celebrate, and promote the game of women's basketball. The 2026 Induction Ceremony will be held on June 27, 2026.
