Overview
Your ticket allows access to the full attraction all day. Customers can purchase a ticket in advance online, or on the day in person.
You can quite easily spend a whole day here exploring the site! In order to make the most of your visit and to take part in all activities, please give yourself plenty of time - we advise arriving in the morning to make the most of the programme.
Our autumn activity programme runs daily between 11am and 3:30pm.
Activities include:
- All About the Honeybee – watch our virtual opening of a bee hive and learn about honeybees and what goes on in the colony.
- Honey Factory Tour & Taste – see our production areas and sample some of our delicious honeys.
- Beeswax & Candle Rolling – learn about the amazing substance that is beeswax and roll your own candle to take home with you.
- Seeds & Secrets of the Autumn Garden - explore our wildlife garden and have a go at harvesting some bee-friendly seeds to take home with you.
Please note, the bees become dormant in the colder months so we are not able to open the hives during this time. The virtual opening of a hive includes some amazing, close up footage of bees in the hive and lots of fascinating facts.
