GG on Two Wheels is a Scottish registered charity (SC054979) with a story rooted in love, loss and the quiet determination to turn personal grief into something that helps others. When George Talbot lost his wife Gaynor to cancer, he did what riders do — he got on his bike. What followed was a fundraising journey to honour Gaynor's memory and pay tribute to the care she received during her final days at Strathcarron Hospice. Through solo motorcycle expeditions, George captured the hearts of communities across Scotland and beyond, raising over £70,000 for the hospice that had meant so much to his family. It was a remarkable achievement, born entirely from love and lived experience. But somewhere along those miles, something bigger began to take shape. George recognised that the need extended far beyond any single institution. Families across Scotland facing a cancer diagnosis don't just need hospice care — they need practical, immediate and human support at every stage of the journey. And so GG on Two Wheels grew from a fundraising tribute into a charity in its own right. Today, GG operates with a dual purpose. The fundraising rides continue — George still rides, still raises, still carries Gaynor with him on every journey. But now the charity also delivers its own direct support to cancer - affected families: through emergency financial aid, complementary therapies, and community partnerships designed to meet families exactly where they are. Alongside this, George is building GG into a content platform — documenting his grief journey authentically across Meta, TikTok and YouTube inspired by adventure creators like Itchy Boots — creating a sustainable engine that funds the mission and connects with people who recognise something of their own story in his.
