About Pixie Play Cafe
Pixie Play Café is a boutique indoor play space designed for little ones under six — where parents can relax with great coffee while kids explore, climb, and imagine. Featuring a soft-play playground, sensory ball pit, and air-ball games, it’s the perfect mix of fun and comfort for families. Enjoy our café menu of quality hot & cold drinks, smoothies, toasties & snacks or book our upstairs party room for special celebrations.
Booking policy
To ensure a safe, fun, and enjoyable experience for everyone, please take a moment to review our guidelines:
Supervision & Safety:
Children must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times. Please note that Pixie play does NOT take responsibility for supervising children. Children over 6 years old may only enter the play area as a sibling’s playmate and must engage in gentle play only. If they cannot do this, then they will be asked to leave the play area(s).
Footwear & Hygiene:
For hygiene and safety, non-slip socks must be worn at all times by children once entering the shop front gate.
Adults are to wear ordinary socks within the shop. No shoes are to be worn past the front gate. If you forget to bring socks, they can be purchased at the front counter upon arrival.
Please wash your hands before and after play.
For the wellbeing of all guests, we kindly ask that children who are unwell, or have been unwell, do not attend the café for at least 48 hours.
In the event of a toilet accident (urination or soiling) in either the large ball pit or the sensory pebble ball pit, a $200 cleaning fee will apply. This fee covers the immediate deep cleaning, sanitisation, and temporary closure of the affected area to ensure the health and safety of all guests.
No smoking or alcohol is permitted anywhere on the premises.
Play Area Conduct:
No running, pushing, rough play, or climbing on equipment not designed for such use. Strictly no food, drinks, or chewing gum are allowed in the play areas. Prams are permitted inside only for children under 12 months. Unruly, offensive, rude, or bullying behaviour and language will not be tolerated. When leaving, please ensure all Pixie play property is returned or left behind.
Personal Belongings & Surveillance:
The café is monitored by 24-hour surveillance, but guests are still responsible for their personal belongings. We cannot be held liable for lost or damaged items.
Booking & Timing Policy:
If your play session exceeds your allotted time by more than 15 minutes, you will be charged at the half-hour rate of $7-11.50 applies (depending on child’s age/weekday or weekend rate). If overtime exceeds 30 minutes, the hourly rate of $14.00-23.00 (depending on child’s age/weekday or weekend rate). By purchasing a ticket, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to all Pixie play terms and conditions.

Outside Food & DrinksFor children under 12 months, you’re welcome to bring along their own baby food and snacks.For children 12 months and over, we kindly ask that no outside food or drinks are brought into the venue, with the exception of water bottles.
As we are a café, we ask that all food and drinks enjoyed during your visit are purchased from our menu. We have a great variety of options available, including a dedicated kids’ menu with plenty to choose from.

2. Rescheduling Policy:
Bookings may be rescheduled provided the request is made more than 48 hours prior to the session start time; and there is availability in the preferred alternative session. Rescheduling requests made within 48 hours of the session start time will not be accepted.

Party Hire – Cancellation & Date Change Policy
By proceeding with a party booking, you agree to the following cancellation and date change terms.
1. Booking Confirmation:
50% deposit secures your party booking date and time.
The remaining 50% balance is payable in-store on the day of your party.Please note, your party booking is not confirmed until the deposit has been paid. via this online booking system.
2. Cancellation Policy:
- Cancellations made more than 21 days prior to the party date- A full refund will be issued minus a 8% service fee, which covers non-refundable FPOS and processing charges.
- Cancellations made more than 14 days prior to the party date- A 50% refund of the total amount paid will be provided minus the online Beyonk booking fee's
- Cancellations made within 14 days of the party date- No refund will be issued.
Party bookings may be rescheduled without penalty, provided we receive a minimum of 14 days’ notice prior to the original party date. Date changes requested within 14 days of the party date will be treated as a cancellation and the above cancellation policy will apply.
All date changes are subject to availability.
