About Kelmarsh Hall and Gardens (Forest of Secrets)
Kelmarsh Events Ltd was established in 2004 as the commercial arm of the Trust. Its role is to generate income that directly supports the conservation and charitable work of the Kelmarsh Trust. By hosting weddings, corporate events, festivals, outdoor experiences and private celebrations, the Events team helps fund the ongoing care of the Hall, gardens and estate
Booking policy
Forest of Secrets Terms and Conditions
Forest of Secrets at Kelmarsh Hall & Gardens, running from 31
October 2026 until 2 January 2027.
By purchasing a ticket and attending Forest of Secrets, you agree
to these Terms and Conditions.
Ticket Purchases
All tickets are non-refundable. Once purchased, tickets
cannot be cancelled or refunded except where Forest of Secrets cancels the
event in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.
Only tickets purchased through the official Forest of Secrets
booking system or an authorised ticket agent are valid for entry.
Ticket Resale
Tickets are sold for personal use only and may not be resold,
advertised for resale, transferred for commercial gain or offered for sale
through any unauthorised third-party platform, marketplace or ticket resale
website without the prior written consent of Forest of Secrets.
Tickets purchased through unauthorised resale websites or
third-party sellers will not be accepted for entry and may be cancelled without
notice.
Forest of Secrets accepts no responsibility for tickets purchased
through unauthorised third parties.
Changing Your Visit Date
We understand that plans can change. If you are unable to attend
your booked date, you may change your tickets yourself using our online
self-service booking system.
Event Cancellation Due to Severe Weather or Other Circumstances
The safety of our visitors and staff is our priority.
In the unlikely event that Forest of Secrets is cancelled in
full due to severe weather or other circumstances beyond our reasonable
control, affected ticket holders will be offered the opportunity to transfer
their tickets to an alternative available date, subject to availability.
Customers will be contacted using the email address provided at
the time of booking as soon as reasonably possible with details of the
available options.
Guests will have 3 days from the date of the cancellation
email to select an alternative available event date. If no alternative date is
selected within this period, Forest of Secrets reserves the right to release
the booking, subject to any rights required under applicable consumer law.
Partial Disruption or Partial Cancellation
Forest of Secrets is an outdoor event and, where it is safe to do
so, we will endeavour to continue operating even if parts of the event are
affected by adverse weather or other unforeseen circumstances.
If we are required to:
Force Majeure
Forest of Secrets shall not be liable for any delay, interruption,
alteration or cancellation of the event arising from circumstances beyond our
reasonable control, including but not limited to:
Weather Conditions
Forest of Secrets is an outdoor event and will operate in most
weather conditions, including rain, cold weather and wind.
Please dress appropriately for the conditions.
Tickets will not be refunded or exchanged because of poor weather
unless the event is officially cancelled in full by the organisers.
Late Arrivals & Non-Attendance
Tickets cannot be refunded or transferred if you:
Under-18 Supervision
Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied and
supervised at all times by a responsible adult aged 18 years or over.
The accompanying adult is responsible for the safety, welfare and
behaviour of the children in their care throughout the event.
Admission & Security
To ensure the safety and enjoyment of all visitors, Forest of
Secrets reserves the right to carry out reasonable security measures, including
bag inspections where considered necessary.

Accessibility
Forest of Secrets has been designed so that the majority of the
route is suitable for wheelchair users, mobility aids and prams.
As the event takes place within the natural grounds of Kelmarsh
Hall & Gardens, visitors should be aware that some areas include uneven
ground, gravel paths, grass, slopes, exposed tree roots and other natural
surfaces. Ground conditions may vary depending on the weather.
Visitors with specific accessibility requirements are encouraged
to contact our customer support team before booking.
Right to Refuse Entry or Remove Visitors
Forest of Secrets reserves the right to refuse admission or remove
any visitor from the event without refund where it reasonably considers this
necessary, including where a visitor:

Visitors attend Forest of Secrets at their own risk.
Forest of Secrets, Kelmarsh Hall & Gardens, its employees,
contractors and agents accept no responsibility for the loss, theft or damage
of personal belongings brought onto the site.
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes or limits liability
for:
General Terms
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England
and Wales, and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction
of the English courts.
If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found to be
invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force
and effect.
Forest of Secrets reserves the right to amend these Terms and
Conditions where reasonably necessary. The latest version will always be
available on our website.
Any personal information collected as part of your booking will be
processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable UK data
protection legislation.
Contact Us
- Ticket transfers are available up to 3 days (72 hours) before your scheduled visit.
- Changes are subject to availability.
- No changes can be made within 3 days of your booked event date.
- Tickets cannot be exchanged for cash or refunded if you are unable to attend.
- Delay opening;
- Open later than advertised;
- Close earlier than planned; or
- Temporarily or permanently close individual areas, attractions or sections of the event (for example due to flooding, fallen trees or other safety concerns),
- Severe weather, storms or flooding;
- Fire or other emergency incidents;
- Government restrictions or changes in law;
- Epidemics or pandemics;
- Acts of terrorism or threats to public safety;
- Civil unrest or industrial disputes;
- Utility or telecommunications failures;
- Failure of suppliers or contractors; or
- Any other event or circumstance making it unsafe, illegal or impracticable to operate the event.
- Arrive after your allocated entry time.
- Choose not to attend your booked session.
- Are unable to attend for personal reasons after the 3-day transfer deadline has passed.
- No food or drink may be brought onto the event site unless required for medical reasons or infant feeding.
- Food and beverages will be available to purchase on site.
- Visitors must comply with all reasonable instructions given by event staff, security personnel and emergency services.
- Weapons, fireworks, flares, laser devices, illegal substances and other dangerous or prohibited items are not permitted.
- Visitors who appear intoxicated or whose behaviour is abusive, threatening, dangerous or likely to affect the enjoyment of others may be refused entry or removed from the event without refund.
- Anyone causing damage to the venue or event infrastructure may be removed and held responsible for the cost of repairs.
- Remain on designated pathways.
- Not enter restricted or fenced-off areas.
- Take extra care on uneven or slippery surfaces.
- Refrain from running along the trail.
- Follow all safety signage.
- Comply with instructions from event staff during emergencies.
- Behaves in a threatening, abusive, disruptive or unsafe manner.
- Appears to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
- Fails to comply with reasonable instructions from staff or security.
- Attempts to use an invalid, altered or fraudulently obtained ticket.
- Acts in a way likely to compromise the safety or enjoyment of other visitors.
- Death or personal injury caused by negligence.
- Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
- Any other liability that cannot legally be excluded under the laws of England and Wales.

Ticket Cancellation & Transfers
- All tickets are non-refundable.
- If you can no longer attend your booked date, you may transfer your tickets to another available date using our online self-service booking portal.
- Ticket transfers must be completed no later than 3 days (72 hours) before your booked event date and are subject to availability.
- No refunds or transfers will be offered within 3 days of your booked date.
Event Cancellation: Forest of Secrets is an outdoor event and will operate in most weather conditions.
Should we need to cancel the event in full due to severe weather or other exceptional circumstances, affected ticket holders will be offered the opportunity to transfer their booking to another available date. We will contact customers by email with further information.
