(SE) Retford Town Lock return cruises

Overview

Why not join us for a trip along the Chesterfield Canal to celebrate Retford Charter Day on 4th May and Retford Heritage Day on 12th September.
This trip takes in a lock which you will be able to help operate under the supervision of our volunteers, or simply sit back and relax.
You will cross three aqueducts along the way and get a very different view of the town.
Whilst on the journey you will have the opportunity to steer the boat if you wish.
This is a public trip, so you will be joined by others on your journey - just think of them as friends that you are yet to meet!
Seth Ellis seats 12 people.
Hot drinks are available to purchase on board the boat at a small cost.
All trips are crewed by qualified volunteers of the Chesterfield Canal Trust and the profits from all trips go towards the restoration of the last few miles of the Chesterfield Canal .
