Over two days, explore Silk Shading and Goldwork with the Royal School of Needlework, inspired by the delicately embroidered slippers of the Regency period. Working in soft pinks, whites and golds, you’ll recreate a floral motif that blends subtle Silk Shading with the texture and shine of Goldwork. The course covers padded Cutwork, Pearl Purl couching, Passing Thread and Chipping, alongside the distinctive wrapped line created through S‑ing. You’ll build smooth metal finishes, refine blended silk areas, and add gold and pearl beads, learning how layered techniques create a decorative, Regency‑inspired embroidery.
