The Voluta Quartet is a vibrant new Manchester-based string ensemble who met at the Royal Northern College of Music. Formed in April 2025, the quartet strives to present high-quality, innovative, and entertaining programs. As recent winners of the RNCM Hirsch Prize, the group works closely with local composers and engages with contemporary works as well as core classical repertoire such as Mozart, Beethoven, and Ravel. By bringing the passion and flavour of their multicultural backgrounds, the quartet is excited to share a fresh take on classical quartet music, creating an inspiring and welcoming environment for audiences of all kinds.

The programme of the evening will be annouced shortly including various music that was played within the Buxton Crescent during the Georgian period.
