An adoption is a wonderful & unique gift for the animal lovers in your life. They are suitable for both adults and children. They last for 12 months and include:

  • The adopter's name on our ‘Thank You Adopter's’ board on the park 
  • A percentage towards our conservation partners.
By adopting an animal at Greenacres Animal Park, you can provide a helpful contribution directly towards the phenomenal cost of keeping animals, which includes their heating, specialised food, bedding, enclosure building materials, enrichment, veterinary care bills and more. It also helps fund our conservation efforts, as a percentage of your adoption goes towards supporting our conservation partners.

Terms and conditions

Adoption (Membership) Validity
Valid for 1 year from the date of purchase. 
  1. Animal adoptions are non-refundable, non-exchangeable and are not for resale
  2. Adoptions are for the species, rather than individual animals. This is because our collection is always developing, an animal may leave the zoo for several reasons, such as being part of a breeding programme.
  3. Experiences must be prebooked online no less that 24 hours in advance and must be approved by a member of the team.
  4. Adoption does not imply ownership, nor does it create any liabilities in respect of any animal adopted.
  5. If your adopted species is withdrawn from our collection, Greenacres will notify you and you will have the opportunity to transfer your adoption to another species to support for the remainder of the year.
  6. The adopter's board will be displayed on the ‘Thank You Adopter's’ board. Names are displayed the following month in which the adoption starts, so please allow up to 4 weeks for the adopter’s name to be featured. If you do not want a name to be featured on the board, please let us know
  7. Adopting an animal at the park lasts for 12 months, starting from the beginning of the following month of purchase.
  8. We cannot guarantee your adopted animal will be visible on the day you visit. Allow time to revisit their exhibit throughout the day to avoid disappointment.
  9. All animals remain the property of Greenacres Animal Park.
  10. Each animal adoption comes with one complimentary walkaround admission ticket to Greenacres Animal Park, these hold no monetary value and are not for resale and are non-transferable.
  11. We reserve the right to refuse admission and/or cancel adoptions without refund if anyone behaves in a threatening, inappropriate or abusive way to our staff, contractors, visitors or animals
  12. Terms and conditions are subject to change without notification.
  13. Greenacres reserves the right to change adoption benefits at any time and without prior notice. The content of animal adoption packs is subject to change at the discretion of Greenacres
  14. The data you supply will only be used for the purpose of your animal adoption and will not be passed to any third parties or used for any marketing communication
  15. Admission can be redeemed at any time in line with the parks opening hours. 

Season Pass Validity
From 15/02/2025 until 28/09/2025. Events booked using this pass must take place within this period.
  1. Passes are NOT transferable.
  2. Passes run up to Sunday 28th September 2025
  3. Passes are non-refundable.
  4. Open weekends ONLY March & September **
  5. The park is CLOSED on Mon/Tues/Wed **
  6. Usage of the pass corresponds with the opening and closing times of the park.
  7. Please ensure that the park is open before travel on the day of your visit.
  8. The pass includes access to all park attractions and the activity timetable when available.
  9. Passes MUST be shown on entry to the park.
  10. Season Pass is only applicable for a general day’s admission to the Animal Park and NOT valid on any special events put on by Greenacres Animal Park.
  11. Children must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times in the Park attractions area. Unsupervised children will not be admitted.
  12. You must adhere to these rules and any additional ones added from time to time. Notice will be given from management.
