Overview
We will require ages, heights and weights for each rider during the booking process. if this information is not received on booking the ride will not go ahead and no refund will be given! we can take one rider at the maximum weight limit of 12st and under at the moment.
- We offer hour-long horse and pony trekking for beginners from age 5 upwards.
- Our beginner rides are escorted by our friendly staff at a gentle pace suitable for the riding group, taking in some fantastic moorland scenery away from busy roads.
- During School Holiday weeks we recommend early booking to avoid disappointment.
- Please arrive at the stables about 15 minutes before your ride.
- We will match each rider with the best horse or pony for their ability. These rides are very popular with children and families looking for an enjoyable holiday activity to do together, to brush up on riding skills or try out a new hobby.
- Our horses and ponies are all experienced and very familiar with the moorland terrain.
- Cost per person: from £40 for 60 minutes (timings approx).
Please wear appropriate clothing, no dresses, shorts etc. Please wear appropriate foot wear, not flip flops, or crocs etc.
We do not offer refunds on cancellation
We also have the rare breed farm park which is fun for all the family, you will also receive an entry discount if you have booked a ride with us. A code will be sent to you once you’ve booked online which can be used to book farm tickets online.
