I’m Heather, I’m an Artist. I work as a teaching artist part-time but provide workshops and painting events through the year either at a venue or in my own home. I used to be a primary school teacher and have escaped the chalk face to do what I love! My mantra is always to make things simple but effective, so everything I do in a workshop can be done by anyone, no matter their level of skill or experience. The point is to have fun, be creative and enjoy ourselves along the way. I am fully DBS checked, as I work with children every day in my day job, and hold a current First Aid certificate. I have full Public Liability Insurance. My job is to help you discover your creativity, teach you skills, and help you enjoy the process.
Booking policy
Our cancellation policy is: if you find you can’t come less than 10 days before the event, we retain the right to refuse a refund. After this time, your ticket will either be forfeit or you can send someone in your place. Please note this is a strict policy as last-minute cancellations directly affect our small business and the staff involved in assisting at events.
If you can be accommodated on another painting night, then we will offer you those, dependent on availability, as a substitute. This is dependent on availability and notice given. It may not always be possible to defer to another date, and is at our discretion. If you defer to another date and are subsequently unable to attend that event, no refund or further exchange can be given.
If I am unwell and unable to deliver a painting event, your booking will be postponed to another date on the same day at the same venue. If you prefer, your booking can be transferred to a different event in the future where tickets are available.

Please understand our cancellation policy is due to being a tiny one-woman business, and that I have already bought canvasses and organised staff to help for the evening months in advance. I do my best to offer a swap in some circumstances.
