If you just turn up you are unlikely to be able to launch on busy days as we restrict numbers to ensure a great experience.
Our SELF LAUNCH POLICY allows for ONE person to launch ONE CRAFT at a time.The craft cannot be 'shared' we have a 'one craft/one person' policy UNLESS the craft is specifically designed for more than one person. This means things like an inflatable kayak that is specifically designed for two people as an example, you pay for ONE SELF LAUNCH but both people can use the craft if using it at the same time.
If you need craft rental then please book a SUP or SOT via the website shop.
Children under 12 MUST be accompanied by a responsible over 16 who is on the water at all times with them.
Children aged 12 - 16 may be unaccompanied on the water providing the following is adhered to;
- Adult must remain on site supervising their u16(s)
- Max ratio of 1 adult watching 3 u16
- Wear a BA at ALL times on the water unless completion of our junior SUP lesson.
- How to get on the board
- How to fall in the water safely
- How to raise the alarm
All participants will need to bring -
FOOTWEAR they don’t mind getting wet (old trainers are ideal)
SWIM WEAR to use under the wetsuit we will provide
A TOWEL to get dried at the end of the session
ANY MEDICATION they might require such as asthma inhalers/epi pens etc
