Overview
A calming, low‑stimulus alpaca and llama experience designed for individuals with autism spectrum disorders and guests with auditory or sensory sensitivities. This mostly silent session allows visitors to connect with gentle animals at their own pace.
Step into a peaceful, sensory‑friendly environment at Hidden Brook Ranch. Our alpacas and llamas are naturally calm, curious animals who excel at quiet connection. This one‑hour experience is designed specifically for guests on the autism spectrum and individuals who prefer minimal verbal communication, predictable routines, and gentle sensory input.
During this session, staff use soft gestures, visual cue cards, and slow movements instead of spoken instructions. Guests may choose their comfort level—observing from a distance, touching fleece, feeding the animals, or taking a slow, optional walk with one of our llamas or alpacas.
All interactions are guest‑led, optional, and supported by a quiet environment with limited participants. What to Expect
