Overview
Join WeClick CIC and The Samba Girls for an uplifting evening
exploring samba as more than simply a dance.
Inspired by the Brazilian tradition of comunidade, where
samba schools act as vital community spaces bringing neighbours, families and
generations together, this inclusive session will celebrate identity, belonging
and collective joy through rhythm, movement and storytelling.
Participants will learn accessible samba movements, explore the
cultural and community roots of carnival and experience the energy of moving
together. No previous dance experience is needed, and movements can be adapted
to suit different abilities.
