Meet
the artist behind our current our current exhibiting for an in-depth look into
his portfolio of work and creative practice.
During
this Interactive Seminar, Marcus Price will talk about how important moments in
his personal life and world events have permeated his poetry and painting.
Marcus’ first publication ‘Asleep on the Volcano, The Poetic Landscape of
Psychotherapy, 2021’ was written as a response to his experiences of a forensic
psychiatric institution.
Marcus
collaborated with Group Analyst and Author Mike Tait, with a second book, ‘The
Visitors, A Journey of Questions in Words and Paintings - 2025.’ A fictional
work which makes a powerful challenge to the way we understand contemporary
institutions. His recent collection of paintings, ‘Identity Crises’ depicts
images of hardly defined figures, mostly struggling or unable to place
themselves in the world.
There
will be plenty of time for discussion and reflection.
