Meet Georgie, the maker behind Made by GiGi. The business name was inspired by her Granny, who affectionately called her "Gigi" and first encouraged her love of drawing. Some of Georgie's fondest childhood memories are of spending hours at her Granny's kitchen table, sketching while looking out over the garden and listening to stories about the flowers she lovingly grew.
Today, Georgie handcrafts stoneware and terracotta ceramics, specialising in plates, bowls and mugs, alongside a range of ceramic jewellery. Drawing remains central to her creative process, with many of her pieces featuring delicate linear and floral motifs. Inspired by nature and everyday moments, she often gathers leaves and flowers during countryside walks with her dogs to press into her pottery, creating unique textures and patterns.
