About Niederman Family Farm
Since 1948, our family farm has been a place of hard work, tradition, and community. For three generations, the Niederman family has cared for the land and raised a wide variety of livestock, including dairy cows, chickens, pigs, beef cattle, lambs and goats. Farming has always been more than an occupation for our family — it has been a way of life rooted in faith, dedication, and stewardship of the land. In 1988, Bob and Bethann Niederman returned to the family farm after getting married continuing the traditions established by Bob’s parents. Together, they worked tirelessly to care for the animals and crops while raising their own children on the farm. Their commitment to agriculture and family values helped preserve the farm’s legacy during a time when many family farms faced increasing financial pressures and rising operational costs. To help sustain the farm for future generations, Bob and Bethann began expanding the property’s offerings beyond traditional farming. Over the years, the farm grew to include paintball, educational farm tours, seasonal fall festivals, hayrides and boat storage services. These additions created opportunities for families, friends and neighbors to gather, celebrate and create meaningful experiences together in a more rural setting. In December 2011, our family faced a heartbreaking loss when Bob passed away after a courageous battle with cancer. Determined to honor his legacy of faith, love, and dedication to both family and community, Bethann and the children chose to continue building upon Bob’s vision for the farm. Today, the farm remains a place where agriculture, family traditions, and lasting memories come together. Generations of visitors have experienced the joy of spending time on the farm, and our family continues to welcome guests with the same spirit of hospitality and community that has defined the farm since 1948. “The best part of a memory is making it!”
