Overview
Kayaking, paddle boarding, or canoeing is available at our 35-acre lake facility located in Park in the Past, Hope Village.
Your Ticket covers Hire of all equipment and the option to swim (YOU MUST HAVE A TOW FLOAT TO SWIM) These can be hired extra if you do not have one.
Ticket Types:
- Standard Ticket is for 90 minutes of equipment hire.
- For extra value we will also have a day hire option for a limited number of paddle boards and single kayaks
Location:
Situated just 10 minutes outside of Chester, this beautiful and secluded rural location is ideal for safe paddling, regardless of the weather. It's a perfect opportunity to try paddle sports for the first time or simply to enjoy the lovely scenery and get some fresh air.
We offer options for all ages, with a minimum age of 3 years old (accompanied by a parent). By booking online, you agree to our waiver, and only one waiver is required per group booking.
Our start and endpoint is Hope Lake. Parking is available nearby, with a short walk to the lakeside and our hire centre where your paddling equipment will be ready for you.
We recommend arriving at least 30 minutes before your scheduled start time to ensure you have all the necessary equipment. Children under 12 must be accompanied on the water by an adult. Under 16s must be supervised by an adult at all times while on the water.
If you have any questions, please contact us before booking. We suggest wearing comfortable clothing and bringing a change of clothes just in case. Wetsuits are not provided, but you are welcome to wear one if you prefer. We reserve the right to substitute equipment for an alternative.
Please note that this is not a lesson, and no instruction will be given. This is purely for equipment hire, allowing you to enjoy this wonderful pastime and experience the water in a new way.
Additionally, we do offer paddle boarding lessons at our facility in Hope, which we recommend if you’re not feeling confident. We also accommodate group bookings for corporate events, well-being groups, meetups, and any other groups. Please get in touch with us for further details.
