Animal Husbandry Classes for Homeschoolers & All Animal Loving Kids!
Welcome to our engaging Animal Husbandry Classes, where young animal lovers can dive into the fascinating world of animal care! Designed for children aged 5-18 years, these hands-on classes provide an interactive and fun environment for learning about various farm animals as well as captive wildlife in a zoo setting.
What to Expect:
Animal Interaction: Students will get up close and personal with a variety of animals, including chickens, goats, llamas, various exotic animals and more! They’ll learn proper handling techniques and how to recognize animal behavior.
Hands-On Learning: Each session includes activities like feeding, grooming, and understanding the needs of different animals. Kids will develop essential skills and a sense of responsibility.
Educational Insights: We’ll explore topics such as animal anatomy, nutrition, health care, and the importance of farming practices.
Fun facts and stories will make learning exciting!
Creative Projects: Kids will engage in arts and crafts related to animals, including creating their own animal care journals, and designing habitats.
Teamwork and Responsibility: Through group activities and projects, children will learn the value of teamwork, empathy, and respect for living creatures.

Classes meet for 5 weeks on Wednesdays from 10:30am-12:00pm.
THIS IS A 5-WEEK CLASS that meets for 1.5 hours per class.
