Clubmaker for a day gift card

This exclusive four-hour immersive experience takes you beyond the game and into the workshop, offering a rare opportunity to explore the craft, materials and techniques that shaped golf's golden age. Working alongside an experienced clubmaker, you'll discover how historic clubs are identified, restored, assembled and preserved. You'll learn traditional woodworking and metalworking techniques, handle original clubs dating back over a century and gain a deeper understanding of the craftsmanship behind the game. Throughout the day you'll shape hickory, restore historic club components, learn how club heads were made and assembled, build a replica long nose golf club and personalise your own restored hickory club to take home. Designed for collectors, enthusiasts, historians and golfers who love the details behind the game, this is a hands-on experience unlike anything else in golf tourism. At the end of the day you'll leave with your own personalised hickory golf club and a replica long nose clubhead and a unique insight into a craft that has almost disappeared from the modern game.
