Gutty Experience Gift Card

This voucher entitles the holder to a 2.5 hour Hickory Golf Workshop Gutty Experience

Full Experience + Gutty Golf ball. Please note that this voucher does not include the purchase of a personalised hickory club. Hickory clubs can be purchased on the day at a discounted rate (£95) or you can purchase a gift card for a cash amount and include a personalised hickory club upon booking.

Complete your journey from craft to play. First you restore and personalise your own genuine hickory club. Then you step into the early days of golf by making a replica gutty ball using traditional style methods and safe modern materials. Learn how ball design shaped the game, then take home your handmade gutty as a keepsake.
What you will do

• Guided heritage overview, display walk, and live bench demonstration.
• Restore and personalise your chosen vintage club, leather grip, whipping thread, finishing and polish.
• Gutty workshop, form a replica gutty ball with a two part mould, finish the seam, and add a scored surface pattern inspired by historic designs.
• Short story session on early ball making, materials, moulds, and how patterns like bramble changed flight and feel.
• Gentle try on the indoor putting green and a brief simulator swing with hickory clubs.

What you take home
