About Shaka Surf Branksome

Based on one of the UK’s most beautiful sandy beaches at Branksome Dene in Poole Bay, Shaka Surf is the only Surf school on the south coast that is certified with SURFING ENGLAND – The recognised National Governing Body for the Sport of Surfing in England. A not for profit membership organisation run by surfers to support & development Surfing in England. Recognised by Sport England, the International Surfing Association & the European Surfing Federation. Shaka Surf is perfectly located for all ages and abilities to have fun in the water - paddle boarding, surfing, kayaking, corporate events, parties, games and much, much more! With parking close to the beach, and amenities at a very short stroll, we’re blessed with an idyllic base on the UK's popular south coast. Surfing Lessons *Surfing (Hire, Lessons and Groups, Private ) - Our lessons help paddle techniques, stamina and pop-up techniques (how to get up on to the surf board), tailored to each individual as we know everybody learns at a different rate. If you prefer you can hire a board and try it out for yourself. *Stand-up paddle boarding (SUP) (Hire and lessons) - During our paddle board lessons, we assess each client’s ability and offer learning that’s right for them. From basic learning drills, stamina building, sprint training and surf supping. Boards available for hire too.
