Clay Workshops

Kids will love these fabulous Under the Sea themed workshops and have fun making their own project from clay.  How to book - Choose how many participants, select the date & then choose the time slot. Then choose using the 'add on' feature to let us know which 1 project your child would like to create so we have time to prepare the clay (click on the pic for sample) All instructions and tools are provided, aprons are available but we advise wearing clothes you won't mind them getting messy!  Creations are left with us to kiln fire to bisque (blank pottery) ready for painting at home with your own paints or for an additional cost children can return to our Studio to paint with underglazes and have kiln fired to finish. Suitable for children aged 8yrs + however, younger children can attend with a parent helper. Max 1 Adult per booking due to studio space. *Please note adults will not be making a separate project. (An adult helper) is to help their child with their chosen project only

Get your creativity flowing in this fun and autumn inspired workshop.   You’ll design an autumn wreath out of clay, we’ll show you how to delicately attach leaves & other embellishments to your wreath. No two pieces are ever the same. Once your wreath is fired to bisque, you can return to paint it for FREE then leave it with us to kiln fire to finish.  Wreath is approx 8inch (20.3cm)  Workshop lasts up to 2hrs 15yrs + 📍52 Fore Street, St Marychurch, TQ14LX

Join us for clay fun and learn to make your own ceramic mug & coaster. This tutor led session includes all materials required along with use of the pottery equipment.  Aprons are provided but we suggest you wear clothes you wont mind getting a little messy.  Finished creations are left with us to dry and kiln fire.  Items can be collected  when ready (or posted for an additional cost). . Suitable for ages 16yrs + Please note that if we have an insufficient number of participants we reserve the right to cancel/re-schedule a session.  Mug & Coaster making Workshop Learn how to hand build your own mug from clay and impress or embellish using our stamps, cutters or garden foliage.  Add a coordinating coaster to finish your project and leave with us to glaze and kiln fire (and make food safe).

Enjoy a whole day getting creative with clay.  Learn the basics of hand building to create your own project . Have fun throwing pots on the electric pottery wheel with the same structure as our Pottery Wheel Taster sessions then enjoy throwing some more,!.  Leave your favourite 3 makes with us to kiln fire and we'll have them ready for collection (or delivery for an additional cost) approx 6-8 weeks later.   Materials, use of equipment and aprons provided  but please wear clothes you won't mind getting a little messy! Sessions run 10.30am-4.00pm with  1hr min lunch break (bring a packed lunch or pop into one of our local cafes)
