Half-Day Zookeeper Experience

Spending half a day alongside our keeper team is a unique opportunity to learn all about Camperdown Wildlife Centre and the fabulous animals that live here! Your action-packed itinerary will feature the chance to work on various animal sections. Your half-day experience includes cleaning out enclosures, preparing food and of course, the opportunity to meet some of the animals up close, so it's guaranteed to be fun!
Arrival Time:
Please arrive at 9.00am at the Reception Area, where a Keeper will greet you. Example Itinerary (9.00am – 1.00pm):
Your experience may include:
- European Bears (seasonal April - October)
- Scottish Wildcats
- Small Clawed Otters
- Marmosets
- Lemurs
- 15-minute coffee break with complimentary drink and cake in our café
What to Wear:
Sensible footwear is required as the paths to some enclosures are uneven. Please wear comfortable and preferably old clothing. Waterproof clothing is recommended, as the experience will go ahead in all weather conditions. Booking Information:
