Centre Step into the boots of a zookeeper and discover what it’s like to care for some of Scotland’s most fascinating animals. This immersive half-day experience gives you behind-the-scenes access to our wildlife centre, where you’ll join our expert keepers in their daily routines. 

From preparing meals and cleaning enclosures to observing animal behaviour and creating enrichment activities, you’ll get hands-on with a variety of species—including Scottish Wildcats, Otters, Lemurs, and even our European Bears (seasonal April -  October). You’ll also enjoy a well-earned break with complimentary cake and a drink in our café.
