Junior Zoo Keeper Experience

For all future zookeepers, this hands-on experience offers a unique opportunity to work with some of the animals at Camperdown Wildlife Centre. The Junior Zoo Keeper Experience lets you meet our keepers, feed some of the animals, and learn how we care for them.
Session Details:
Starts at 11.00am and lasts for 2 hours.
Activities May Include:
  • Animal enrichment
  • Enclosure cleaning
  • Food preparation
  • Animal feeding
The experience includes a variety of tasks and animals, designed to leave a lasting impression.
Age Requirement:
Available to participants aged 8–17 years. All participants must be accompanied by a parent or guardian for the whole experience. We won't be able to go ahead if they don't have someone over 18 with them.
Important Notes:
If the participant has any phobias or known allergies, please contact us on 01382 431811 before booking to ensure the experience is suitable.
What to Wear:
Sensible footwear is required as some paths are uneven. Please wear comfortable, preferably old clothing, and bring waterproofs. This experience goes ahead in all weather conditions.
