Curious, social, and endlessly entertaining - meerkats are one of the most popular animals at Camperdown Wildlife Centre. Living in tight-knit family groups called mobs, these energetic creatures spend their days foraging, playing and keeping watch from their lookout posts.
By adopting a meerkat, you’re helping us provide expert care, enrichment and a safe, stimulating environment for our mob. Your support ensures they stay healthy, active and happy and helps us continue educating visitors about these fascinating animals.
Native to the deserts and grasslands of southern Africa, meerkats are known for their teamwork, sharp eyesight and quirky personalities. With your adoption, you become part of their story and help protect wildlife for future generations.
