Re-enactors from the Waterloo period with a full living history period camp display, foot Drill and Cannon and Musket firing. Moggerhanger Park and Immersion Theatre are pleased to present this laugh-a-minute adaptation of Shakespeare’s whirlwind comedy of mistaken identity, music, and of course, the mayhem of love!  This unmissable and mischievous production is Shakespeare as it’s meant to be: interactive, fun, and highly accessible!  Bring yourself a picnic and drinks and sit back in the summer sun on the lawn of our Grade 1 Listed Georgian Historic House. Please note that this is an outdoor performance which will go ahead come rain or shine, so please do bring the appropriate attire with you as there is no covered area. Picnic blankets and low backed chairs will make your experience far more relaxing and we encourage picnics but we do ask that you please take your rubbish home with you. Our House Tours take place at 1.30pm on Thursdays and Sundays and take about one and a half hours. They cover a guided tour of the House with information about the Thornton family and their impact on British society, the history of the House and other aspects of the estate. Please note that there are stairs that must be used to visit the first and second floors of the House. Take time before or after the tour to visit our Tearoom for light refreshments.

Shalom Community Church invites you to enjoy an Afternoon Tea in Moggerhanger Park’s beautiful state Eating Room in aid of Ukrainian families. Three tiers of delicious sweet treats, savoury delights and home baked goodies served with a variety of teas and coffees. Join us in the Walled Garden with a selection of specialist nurseries, local produce, and artisan products. Our very own gardening team will have a range of plants grown right here at the park for sale and the garden itself should be in full bloom in the summer sun!   All proceeds go towards the restoration of the gardens and grounds.
