Overview
If you dream of standing on a true Himalayan summit without needing advanced technical climbing, this Mera Peak expedition is for you. In a 17-day adventure, we trek deep into Nepal’s remote Hinku Valley, build altitude safely with proper acclimatization, and attempt Mera Peak (6,476m)—one of the most accessible 6,000m+ peaks in the Himalayas. The reward is enormous: a summit panorama that includes Everest, Lhotse, Makalu, Cho Oyu, and Kangchenjunga, plus the rare stillness that only high altitude can give.
Highlights:
• Summit Mera Peak (6,476m) – a classic Himalayan trekking summit
• World-class panorama – Everest, Lhotse, Makalu, Cho Oyu & Kangchenjunga from the summit ridge
• Remote Hinku Valley – forests, glacial lakes, and traditional Sherpa villages far from crowds
• Proper acclimatization – built-in rest days and gradual altitude gain for safety
• Technical training included – crampons, ice axe, rope work, and glacier travel practice
• Small group (4–10) – focused team experience and personal attention
• Complete logistics – permits, porters, lodges, High Camp tents, and Lukla flights handled
Difficulty: Moderate–Challenging. Strong endurance required; summit day is long (8–12 hours). No advanced climbing skills required, but comfort on snow/ice and at altitude is essential (training provided).
Accommodation: Kathmandu hotel + mountain lodges; High Camp in expedition tents.
Meals: Full board on the mountain route; breakfast in Kathmandu included.
Minimum participants: 4.
