Kazbek - 5054 m

Overview

If you dream of standing above 5,000 meters on one of the Caucasus’ most iconic summits, this Mount Kazbek expedition is for you. In a 10-day adventure, we’ll combine a carefully paced acclimatization program with a true summit attempt of Kazbek (5,054m)—a glacier-covered giant steeped in legend (Prometheus and the stolen fire) and surrounded by Georgia’s unforgettable culture, food, and hospitality. With multiple prior ascents on this mountain, we focus on giving every participant a real, safe chance to reach the top.
Highlights:

• Summit Mount Kazbek (5,054m) – a legendary 5,000m peak in the Caucasus
• Acclimatization built in – progressive days to 3,000m / 3,650m / 4,250m before summit night
• Gergeti Trinity Church – classic viewpoint above Stepantsminda
• Georgia culture immersion – Tbilisi + local cuisine, history, and people
• Glacier trekking + alpine skills – mountaineering practice during acclimatization day
• Small, selected team – participant screening to build a compatible, prepared group
Difficulty: Difficult (endurance-focused). Technically Kazbek is relatively straightforward, but it requires strong fitness and previous winter/alpine mountain experience.

Accommodation: Guesthouse/cottage in towns; mountain hut or tents during ascent (depending on options).

Meals: Depending on selected package; mountain meals can be arranged at the Weather Station.
Minimum participants: 5.
