The Hall will be open by free guided tour only on Heritage Open Days this year.

Enjoy a 1 hour 15 minute tour of the main areas of the house including the Victorian Dining Room, the impressive library, the bedroom suites, the double-height High Room and the homely Drawing Room. Our expert guides will tell you the story of the Isham family from 1560-1976 as well as explaining the architectural changes to the hall through the centuries and touching on highlights of the painting and furniture collection which remains largely intact.

Tours are strictly pre-booked only on the hour, every hour from 10am-2pm.

The gardens will be open 10am-4pm for you to explore alongside your entry to the house.

There will also be a small exhibition on the everyday histories of the family and local people who called Lamport and Hanging Houghton home or worked at the Hall. There will be a display of artwork by Northants and Rutland artists to browse too.

The cafe will be open from 9:30am-4pm and the gift shop is open 10am-3pm.
