The Play Hut is more than just soft play. It’s a beautifully designed, calm and family-friendly space that brings together thoughtfully designed soft play and sensory areas with fresh, locally sourced food and barista-style coffee. Aesthetics are at the heart of everything we do. We’ve carefully created a modern, inviting environment where children can explore, imagine and play freely, while parents can enjoy quality coffee, good food and a moment to breathe.Our vision goes beyond everyday play. The Play Hut is built on community. Our Multi-Zoned Soft Play
Our play space has been carefully designed with age-appropriate areas so every child can play confidently and safely.
Baby area (0-2 years)
A calm, soft and sensory-rich space designed especially for little ones beginning to explore.
Junior Area (2-10 years)
A multi-level play structure with slides, climbing features, tunnels and imaginative play elements for older children.
Sports zone
An active space designed for energetic play - encouraging movement, coordination and confidence in a fun, safe environment.
Older Children Chill-Out Zone
A relaxed, comfortable space designed for older children to unwind, socialise and take a break from active play - helping us cater for the whole family, not just little ones. Please note, this area also forms part of our multifunction space, so on rare occasions it may be used to accommodate larger birthday parties.
All areas are designed using natural tones and soft finishes to create a calm, clean and visually beautiful environment.

SEN Sessions
Our SEN sessions are thoughtfully designed to provide a calm, welcoming, and supportive play environment for children with special educational needs and disabilities, and their families. During these sessions, we reduce capacity to allow for more space, lower noise levels, and a gentler pace of play. Lighting and sound are kept softer, and our team are on hand to offer patience, understanding, and support, allowing children to explore and enjoy the space in a way that feels right for them. We also have an accessible changing area suitable for older disabled children, to help families feel comfortable and supported during their visit. These sessions offer a safe, relaxed environment where children can play freely, build confidence, and enjoy The Play Hut at their own pace. Please keep an eye on our socials for upcoming SEN sessions and book online in advance to secure your space.
Inclusive Play
Opening Times and Sessions Pre-book online to guarantee admission - walk-ins are welcome, subject to availability.
Sessions will be time-limited to 1.5 hours
All bookings are non-refundable - Please ensure that you check the date and time before proceeding with booking. If you’re unable to attend, your booking may be transferred to another session when requested at least 12 hours before the start time, subject to availability. Missed or late arrivals cannot be refunded or credited. In the unlikely event The Play Hut must cancel a session, you will be offered a new date or a refund. Please do not attend if your child is unwell or has shown symptoms of illness within the last 48 hours. Refunds cannot be issued due to illness, this policy protects all families using the play centre.
