Did you know…Last year’s maze was harvested and used as feed for our Simmental cows. This year? The field was naturally enriched using nutrient-rich manure from the farm, helping us grow another towering maze ready for summer adventure. See it grow…From first seed to towering stalks, we’ll be sharing regular progress updates as the maze grows throughout the season. Keep an eye on our social channels and website to follow this year’s G1 Summer of Speed field taking shape. On the day We all know British weather can be a little… unpredictable. Unless there’s an official weather warning in place, we’ll be opening the gates whatever the skies are doing, sunshine, showers or somewhere in between. The maze is set within an open field, so we recommend dressing for adventure and wearing suitable footwear, especially after wet weather when things can get a little muddy under hoof. To begin your G1 maze mission, head through the paddock corridor by the goat pen, wander past the Goat Castle and follow the track up to our ‘On the Hoof’ trailer — your official race HQ for the day.Booked online? Great! Just have your confirmation email ready. Feeling spontaneous? Tickets will also be available on the day. Faq’s Can we bring dogs? Only assistance dogs are permitted in the Maize Maze, farmshop and inside kitchen seating area. We welcome four legged friends out in our paddock where you can enjoy refreshments from our ‘On the hoof’ trailer and under our covered marquee where you can order dishes, drinks and sweet treats from Goat Shed kitchen. Do I need to pre-book? Pre-booking saves £1 per ticket and allows you to choose your session, however booking is not essential and tickets can be purchased on the day from our admissions hut. Can I take a pram or wheelchair into the maze? Yes – prams and wheelchairs are welcome in the Maize Maze, and the paths are wide enough to accommodate them. However, please bear in mind that the maze is set in an open field. The ground can be uneven and may get muddy or soft after wet weather, so accessibility really depends on the conditions on the day. We leave it up to individual visitors to decide what feels manageable – just come prepared and wear suitable footwear if you’re planning to push or wheel through the maze. Ready to maze? Tell your friends, and start plotting your goat‑tastic adventure. Don’t forget to check our Events Page for additions like Goat Yoga , Pizza in the Paddock , and more farmyard shenanigans.
