Overview This Halloween join us for some spooky crafts with an hour of creativity and fun.  Get creative as you make a flappy bat, spooky host, pumpkin crafts and monster heads - perfect for your Halloween celebrations. Suitable for little ones aged 3 - 7. Costumes welcome! Event details : Date - Tuesday October 27th, Thursday 29th and Friday 30th of October 2026 Times - Two session options, 11:30am - 12:30pm or 13:30pm - 14:30pm Cost - £3.50 per child. Each booking for one child. All materials included. Ages - Most suitable for children aged 3 - 7 years. One adult required to supervise every two children (adults do not need to book). Where to go - Craft activities will be in our groundfloor Guards room ( on the right as you cross the drawbridge (this will also be signposted on the day). Althoughthis is indoors, the castle can be draughty so please make sure the children wrap up warm and wear suitable footwear. Terms & Conditions Pre-booking required. Come and join us at Caldicot Castle for a unique insight into the fascinating and chequered history of one of Wales most beautiful castles.  (Please note that due to popularity, tickets must be booked beforehand.)  Our tour is led by local expert Pauline Hayward who has spent years studying the castle and its remarkable family history. Pauline will take you on a journey into the past and share with you some of the fascinating facts that are unique to Caldicot Castle. The tour will also point out some of the most interesting features in the castle buildings and may even tell you where you are most likely to see our resident ghost!  Duration: Tour lasts approx 1 hour  When: The last Wednesday of every month (with the exception of events, then tour will be arranged for the week prior), at 2pm.  Where : Tours start under the marquee within the castle grounds.  Cost: £3.50 per person, this includes a hot or cold drink from the tearoom. (Does not include alcoholic beverages) Suitable for: Adults and children of school age  when accompanied by adults. The tour is on flat ground (no steps) but there are some grass areas and chippings in parts.
