Fly a bird - group experience

Overview

Enjoy having one of our trained birds fly to your gloved arm, AND enjoy full day tickets.

Your experience ticket includes full day tickets for the centre, so you are also welcome to enjoy a flying display during your visit.  Displays run at 2:30pm Weds-Sun, and every day in school holidays. During the Spring / Summer months we also run an additional mini flying display at 11am - check our social media or website for details.

After a short introduction and health and safety briefing from your session leader, you will meet one of our resident birds who will then fly to land on your gloved hand, where they will enjoy some of their tasty meal before alighting and returning again. You'll be able to be up close and personal to some of our birds, and you are welcome to take photos and videos.

Entrance to the visitor centre where you can see our resident falcons, hawks and owls, is also included. Your tickets are valid for the whole day, and you can come and go as many times as you like, just keep your ticket confirmation to show at the door (note that with the exception of school holidays, flying displays only run wednesday - sunday).

Time slots for fly a bird run at 1pm and lasts up to 30 minutes.

Dogs - to keep our birds safe we have a no dogs policy.

In the event of extreme weather or circumstances out of our control, displays or experiences may be cancelled at short notice.
