Children will meet some of our small animals, follow the Halloween story and make special potions. Then it’s off through our spooky woodland trail walking your own alpaca  Important information: Children aged 2–6 will need an adult to help them walk their alpaca. Sovereign Owl Experience Step into the world of our magnificent birds of prey with the Sovereign Owl Experience at Nanny Sharon’s Alpaca Farm.  This exclusive one-hour encounter offers a rare opportunity to get close to these majestic creatures in a calm and educational environment. Meet the CollectionDuring your session, you will be introduced to our diverse family of owls. You will have the chance to see the striking differences between species, from our delicate African white-faced Scops owl to our immense and powerful Eurasian eagle owl. Our knowledgeable team will guide you through the unique characteristics of each bird, sharing insights into their silent flight, incredible eyesight, and individual personalities. An Immersive Avian JourneyThis experience is designed for those who wish to truly appreciate the beauty and grace of these birds. 🌿 Wellness Walks at Nanny Sharon’s Alpaca Farm 🌿  Step away from the noise of everyday life and slow things right down with our peaceful wellness walks, guided by our gentle miniature Shetland ponies and our kind Donkeys .  These relaxed walks are all about calm connection — unhurried time in nature, soft hoofbeats, fresh air, and space to breathe. We wander through quiet woodland paths, letting the environment (and the animals) set the pace.  Pick if you’d like to walk one of our miniature Shetlands or one of our lovely donkeys.  Each walk offers a chance to reset, reflect, and simply be present, supported by the grounding presence of our ponies & donkeys in the natural surroundings of the farm.  ✔️ Open to ages 13+ (younger children will be able to book in the summer)  ✔️ Suitable for individuals, couples, families & small groups ✔️90 minute experience, includes time in article cabin with some other animals   Slow steps. African Meerkat Experience at Nanny Sharon’s Alpaca Farm.   Embark on an unforgettable journey with our African Meerkat Experience at Nanny Sharon’s.  This unique adventure allows you to immerse yourself in the fascinating world of meerkats and other remarkable animals. Meet and Feed the Meerkats Begin your experience by spending quality time with one of our lively mobs of meerkats. Under the guidance of our knowledgeable staff, you will have the opportunity to feed these curious and social creatures, learning about their behaviors, diet, and social structure. Sulcata Tortoise Trail   After the meerkats, take a leisurely stroll along our Sulcata Tortoise Trail. Observe these gentle giants in their naturalistic habitat and discover interesting facts about their species and conservation efforts.  Explore the African Cabin   Conclude your adventure by stepping into the African Cabin, where you will meet our enchanting owls and other small African animals and of course some special surprises.  This intimate setting allows for close encounters and insightful interactions, enhancing your appreciation for the diversity and beauty of African wildlife.  Join us for the African Meerkat Experience at Nanny Sharon’s and create memories that will last a lifetime. We offer an unforgettable 90 minute alpaca and goat walking experience. We start by feeding the alpacas and Pygmy goats and then we take them for a 30 minute woodland trail walk. We finish with refreshments (hot and cold) in our Swedish cabins where we bring in some of our cutest furry friends for cuddles.  You will get to meet our rabbits, goats, tortoise & parrots in our cabin while relaxing round a warm log fire. All children must be accompanied by an adult with a ticket. Please note, all children aged 5 years and under must share an alpaca with an adult.
