Guided Cycle Tour: Rhinefield Ornamental Drive & The Heart of the New Forest

Overview

Stanwell House Hotel Guests Only
Starting in the charming coastal town of Lymington, this guided ride takes you deep into the heart of the New Forest. We’ll meander through quaint villages, cross wooden bridges, and follow peaceful gravel tracks surrounded by ancient woodland. Midway, we’ll pause for a well-earned break at The Daisy Tea Garden, where you can enjoy a fresh coffee and a slice of homemade cake before heading deeper into the forest. Our route winds into Brockenhurst and along the famous Rhinefield Ornamental Drive, one of the most stunning stretches of forest in the UK. Keep your eyes open for the wild ponies, donkeys, and cattle that freely roam the landscape – and if it’s autumn, you may even spot the pannage pigs snuffling through the fallen acorns.
This ride offers a true taste of the New Forest – ancient trees, winding paths, and wildlife around every corner – making it a perfect day out for nature lovers and cycling enthusiasts alike.
