On July 4, 2026, America will celebrate the most important milestone in our country’s history-250 years of American Independence.

On April 20, 1790 George Washington spent the night at Sagtikos Manor as part of his LI tour. Our specialty tour "Washington and the Manor" focuses on the colonial rooms in which Washington spent time. In addition, and in recognition of the Presidents’ Day, we will present some insight, using prints in our permanent collection, into the life of George Washington - who in 1790, at the age of 58, became our first president.

February 15th - tours begin at 11:00 am and run every hour with the last tour at 3:00 pm.
