This is a around a 20 minuite session for the little riders 2 - 3 years old to gain confidence on our miniature pony milly  and have a little ride around the arena and a fuss of milly. Welcome back to our winter toddler mornings this will be indoors in an indoor arena at the old redgates farm in maldon. This is a Perfect way to introduce the little ones to our adorable small ponies. The ponies are perfect for the little ones Our miniature shetlands and smaller ponies are such good fun so friendly and love lots of fuss and  attention 💕 Children will get to get up close and brush fuss/ dress up the beautiful mini ponies also they can have a little ride they will also get to  lead mini ponies in and put cones etc. There will also be a little crafting area to draw.  These are 1hr sessions   These sessions  are great for the children to interact with like minded children. Something for the boys & the girls. Come and join us for a themed day of superhero fun  The ponies will be dressed as a superhero spiderman or batman and we have a beautiful unicorn pony  There outfits have been made and designed for these events. Brush the superhero/ unicorn  ponies. Ride the superhero of unicorn pony Bounce on bouncy castle  Lead your favourite superhero pony and capture a great picture. Superhero/ unicorn arts and crafts in marquee area. Superhero tattoo transfers and unicorn glitter  Refreshments available onsite. Toilets 🚻  Parking on site

Welcome to scootys this is a great starter place for your  pony mad child. We run fun but safe riding lessons for the younger ones on leadrein. When you book a ticket this is either a lesson, or ride and groom, you can tell us on the day what you want. If the child Is having a lesson, they will ride the pony for the full session ( no grooming pony)  If the child is having a ride and groom, they will have a short mini ride/ lesson, and then fuss and groom the pony. Troughout the winter cold months and the bad weather, we are in the indoor arena with lighting, also there is an  area for parents to watch there child/ children ride. In the nicer weather occasionally we will use the outdoor arena aswell. This is a great way to learn the basics  and also meet a small group of like minded children,  learning what they enjoy, and to gain good knowledge  from our fabulous team at scooty wootys. Each child will have there own pony and an experienced handler to help them learn to ride on leadrein with no pressure. We work to each individual with the pace they are happy working at. If we feel in time your child is getting more experienced at riding,   we will introduce putting them on a long lunge line and the possibility of taking the leadrein away and the handler will walk near the pony,  this is called ( assisted leading) Ages  Lessons 4 - 10yrs  Ride and grooms  2 - 10 yrs  If you have a child that is abit older we can go by weight and height please enquire  We are a lovely pony club which over the years has helped so many young riders get a good start to learning the basics to riding and to gain confidence around and on the pony in a fun enjoyable way.  In these lessons the children will get to learn about the ponies ,tack equipment used etc I feel this is so important for children to learn as there is no point children knowing how to ride but can't tack the pony up properly. The sessions will include basics of mounting on pony postioning on pony walking/ trotting  and getting to to know  different commands control etc  we will also do fun activities  in and out of cones and little activities to make it fun. We will also get the children riding no stirrups also bareback riding this will be great for there balance and seat and gain core strength aswell in some of the lessons. We have some great riders and also riders that have gone on to achieve great things with there own ponies.
