Bodyboards are smaller and lighter than surfboards; this means they’re generally easier to manoeuvre and quicker to learn on. These smaller boards, combined with a lower centre of gravity, make bodyboarding much less tiring than surfing. It’s also widely considered a much safer sport as the boards are made from foam and they avoid the sharp edges and fins synonymous with surfing.   Due to the nature of bodyboarding, your lowered centre of gravity increases the feeling of speed. This means that catching even the slowest of waves will make you feel like you’re whizzing past the rest of your group in a magnificent blur! If you’re a complete beginner, we guarantee you’ll be catching your first white-water wave within the first 10 minutes of the lesson!  We’ll teach you how to paddle out, trim correctly and how to select the right kind of waves for your ability. For your Super Stand Up Paddle Boarding in Cornwall adventure, we’ll kit you out in a top of the range wetsuit, buoyancy aid, helmet and paddle from the comfort of our heated changing rooms. Your group will be led by our team of guides down to Newquay Bay where you’ll launch this awesome craft - all aboard! After exploring Newquay’s coastal landscape and mastering some basic moves, you’ll moor up your Super SUP for a variety of hilariously fun games. These include the appropriately titled King of the SUP, Sumo SUP and, of course, a bit of classic SUP racing! Kayaking is an interesting, adventurous and relaxing way to spend your spare time on the ocean. Coastlines up and down the country hold epic history and intense stories that just aren’t accessible from dry land. Our expert instructors spent a long time finding this hidden gem, pioneering a coasteering route where everything happens within one extraordinary secret Cornish cove.  One minute you’ll be clambering up through a hole in the rock called Smeagol’s Perch, then leaping out into the middle of its crystal blue plunge pool. It’s our very own ‘under the radar’ secret spot, so you won’t see any other coasteer groups down there, just plenty of natural wildlife and even some friendly seals!   You’ll learn a whole range of super cool skills including wild swimming, technical traversing and how to safely swim, climb and clamber through sea caves. You’ll also learn how to negotiate sluices, natural rapids and big gully wash troughs.
