Join us for a relaxed tour of our vineyard and winery, with a behind-the-scenes look at how our wines are made. We’ll start with a walk through the vines, chatting about our location, a bit of history, and what makes this place special. From there, we’ll head into the winery to see where the wines are made and talk through the process from grape to glass.   After the tour, settle in at our Cellar Door for a guided tasting of five wines, starting with a sparkling and moving through our still wines.    It’s a relaxed experience that’s great for friends, couples, and anyone keen to learn more about wine. Local cheese and charcuterie can be added, and you’re welcome to stay on afterwards and enjoy another drink in the tasting room. For 2026, the Henners annual Christmas tasting is taking over the Ballroom at Herstmonceux Castle. Pick up your tasting glass at the door and work your way through our award-winning English sparkling and still wines, along with a hand-picked selection from around the world. There'll be spirits and beers to try too. Bring friends, make a day of it, and get your Christmas wine sorted while you're there. Entry is free and includes access to the castle grounds. Spaces are limited, so book early. What to Expect Collect a tasting glass and sample our award-winning English sparkling and still wines as well as wines from around the world.  There will be spirits and beers to sample. Henners bar available. Delicious food from Specs and Bear . Live music between 2pm-4pm. Enjoy the relaxed atmosphere and stay for the day. Pricing FREE! Please register for a ticket and show it upon arrival at the main gate. Tickets are limited and subject to availability. Includes entrance to the Castle Gardens up until 3pm. Guided Herstmonceux Castle Tours are an additional cost. Good to know As alcohol will be served, proof of age may be requested. Vehicles cannot be left overnight.
