Overview
For 2026, the Henners annual Christmas tasting is taking over the Ballroom at Herstmonceux Castle.
Pick up your tasting glass at the door and work your way through our award-winning English sparkling and still wines, along with a hand-picked selection from around the world. There'll be spirits and beers to try too.

Entry is free and includes access to the castle grounds. Spaces are limited, so book early.
What to Expect
- Collect a tasting glass and sample our award-winning English sparkling and still wines as well as wines from around the world.
- There will be spirits and beers to sample.
- Henners bar available.
- Delicious food from Specs and Bear.
- Live music between 2pm-4pm.
- Enjoy the relaxed atmosphere and stay for the day.
Pricing
- FREE! Please register for a ticket and show it upon arrival at the main gate.
- Tickets are limited and subject to availability.
- Includes entrance to the Castle Gardens up until 3pm.
- Guided Herstmonceux Castle Tours are an additional cost.
Good to know
- As alcohol will be served, proof of age may be requested.
- Vehicles cannot be left overnight.
- Dogs on leads are welcome in the grounds but not permitted within the Castle.
- Accommodation on site is available to book via Herstmonceux Castle.
- Family-friendly; children must be supervised at all times.
