House and Grounds tickets offer visitors the opportunity to explore this magnificent House, discovering its beautiful interiors and one of Europe's finest private collections of furniture, paintings, and ceramics. In the Stables block, built by Roger Morris in 1733 in the Anglo-Palladian style, enjoy refreshments in the Stables Café and explore our Grounds.  Overview Gates open from 11 am till 5 pm (Last entry into the House at 3:30PM)    Please show or print out your gift card as proof of ticket purchase. You can use your gift card to pre-book tickets online, but it is not necessary to do so.  Please respect any signage or instructions.  Please note: Althorp House and Grounds are only open to the public for two months during the summer. The summer House Opening dates are usually released mid March, and will be made available on our website and social media channels.  The House Opening dates for 2026 are 1 July - 31 August.  Please note we will be closed on 10 & 11 July.  Gift vouchers have an expiry of one year from date of purchase.

Our homemade Afternoon Tea will be delicately packaged in your very own Althorp branded cool bag, ready for you to collect and take home, or enjoy within the stunning grounds of Althorp.  Your Afternoon Tea will be available to collect from the Stables Café and will include the following; A selection of sandwiches Home baked scones and a variety of desserts  Two 20cl bottles of Prosecco (if you would prefer a soft/hot drink, please let our café staff know) Disposable cutlery and glassware  Afternoon Tea can only be booked with a valid entry ticket, which need to be purchased separately.  NB: Image is for reference only.
