Stand up Paddleboarding instructed group session

Overview

Enjoy a fun filled session on a stand-up paddle board with all your friends and family. Whether it’s a party of friends or you want to test your skills then a group session is the one for you.

How much is a group session?
Depends on how many people are attending the group session.

Having an instructor ensures safety, confidence, and reassurance that everybody is safe. Those who may struggle will have an opportunity to be taught within the session.

Starting from the Hollingwood Hub on the Chesterfield Canal the instructor will provide all safety equipment, including buoyancy aids and dry bags for those items you want to keep dry.

What is the layout of a group session?
You meet your instructor where they will brief you and provide all necessary equipment for the session.  Once briefed, they will outline how to get on the water and to control your craft in a safe manner. On the water the instructor will teach everybody how to control the craft and to stand up and safely get back onto the craft. And then either do a journey, games, skills or challenges.

All of our paddle sport instructors are qualified and insured to take groups on the canal or an alternative destination upon request.
