About Glen Nevis Holidays
We are a holiday business located at the foot of Ben Nevis, in the heart of the Scottish Highlands. We have a landholding and a herd of Highland Cattle in Glen Nevis. Find out more about Glen Nevis on one of our guided tours or meet our cattle.

Discover Glen Nevis and meet our Highland Cattle:
Livestock
Our highland cattle are very friendly and are used to seeing people, but they do have big strong horns and are able to kick their heavy legs backwards when stressed.
Always remain calm between animals and keep your distance unless your guide tells you it's safe to approach.
When Booking (Discover Glen Nevis and meet our Highland Cattle Experience) you agree:
- We will walk off-track, and the terrain will be rough in places, so a reasonable level of fitness is required.
- Please come prepared for the always-changing Highland weather. The path can be muddy, so a good pair of walking shoes/boots is essential.
- We'll be walking in areas of long grass with the risk of exposure to ticks. Long trousers are advised.
- Midges can be a problem on still, damp days (May to September), so you might want to bring some repellent.
- The minimum age for the tour is 5 years old, and all those under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
- The route is unsuitable for dogs as we will enter areas with sheep and cattle.
- The route is not suitable for wheelchairs.
- There are no toilets available at the start of the walk or along the way.
