The Wilderness Sauna Experience – A Retreat for Body, Mind, and Soul.  Step away from the chaos of daily life and immerse yourself in a truly transformative outdoor experience. At its core, this is a sauna for the adventurous spirit, but it’s so much more than that.  It’s a chance to reconnect with nature, yourself, and others in a deeply meaningful way.  Set in a serene woodland on the side of a hill, our location is the perfect escape. With an authentic North American tipi as your retreat, you’ll feel fully immersed in the natural world.  The Ritual: Begin by helping to maintain  a low-roofed dome from hazel sticks, insulated with rugs and a waterproof cover. Heat stones in a roaring fire (that you’ll help build and maintain), then transfer them into the dome, where they’ll radiate heat and create a powerful, meditative atmosphere. We’ll guide you through the historical and spiritual significance of the lodge ritual, but the experience will be uniquely your own.  The Day’s Flow: Start with a hot drink and chat round the fire about the lodge  Go on  a grounding walk in nature to connect with the environment and each other. Return to camp for lunch hot drinks and a vegetable soup and bread. Prepare for the lodge by chopping wood repairing and covering While the stones heat up.- Choose your activity  Tend the fire , :whittling sticks, or trying your hand at axe throwing and archery.
