Booking policy

Good Pickin’ Farm Booking PolicyBy completing a booking with Good Pickin’ Farm, you agree to the following policies:
Cancellations & RefundsBookings may be cancelled or rescheduled with at least 7 days' notice. Cancellations made less than 7 days before the scheduled date are non-refundable.Bookings and event tickets are non-refundable for no-shows or cancellations made on the day of the activity. If Good Pickin’ Farm must cancel an activity or event, guests will be offered the option to reschedule, receive a credit, or receive a refund.
WeatherMany of our programs and experiences take place outdoors and operate in a variety of weather conditions, including light rain, cold, heat, and snow.Guests should dress appropriately for the weather and conditions on the farm. Weather alone does not necessarily mean an activity will be cancelled. If Good Pickin’ Farm determines that conditions are unsafe and cancels an experience, we will contact affected guests regarding rescheduling, credit, or refund options.
Arrival & Late ArrivalsPlease arrive at the time indicated in your booking confirmation. Because many experiences have scheduled start and end times, late arrival may result in a shortened experience. For group activities, tours, classes, and events, we may not be able to delay the start time for late arrivals. Missed activities due to late arrival are not eligible for a refund.
Children & SupervisionUnless an activity is specifically identified as a drop-off program, children must remain under the supervision of their accompanying adult while visiting the farm.Adults are responsible for ensuring that children in their group follow staff instructions and farm safety rules.
Animal ExperiencesGood Pickin’ Farm is a working farm with live animals. Animal behavior can be unpredictable, and the nature of an experience may occasionally need to be modified based on an animal’s health, temperament, behavior, or other circumstances. For the safety and wellbeing of our animals and guests, all participants must follow staff instructions while interacting with animals.Specific animals or activities cannot be guaranteed.
Clothing & FootwearAppropriate clothing and footwear are required for farm activities. Closed-toe shoes are strongly recommended and may be required for certain experiences. Please expect uneven ground, dirt, mud, grass, and normal farm conditions.
Participant RequirementsSome activities may have specific age, weight, footwear, mobility, or participation requirements. These will be listed with the individual experience when applicable. It is the responsibility of the person making the booking to review these requirements and ensure that all members of their party are able to participate.
Booking InformationPlease provide accurate contact information when making your reservation. Cancellations, Refunds & WeatherCancellation policies vary depending on the type of booking. Please review the policies below as well as any additional cancellation terms listed with your specific experience or event.
Classes & ProgramsWithdrawals made 7 or more days before a program's start date are eligible for either:
  • credit toward a future Good Pickin’ Farm program, minus a $100 change fee; or
  • refund to the original payment method, minus a 50% administrative fee.
No credit or refund will be issued for cancellations made less than 7 days before the program begins, after a program has started, or for missed or forgotten classes.Makeup classes are only offered when Good Pickin’ Farm cancels a scheduled class. Missed classes are otherwise non-refundable and non-transferable.
Private Tours & ExperiencesWe want you to enjoy your time at the farm! Because many of our private experiences take place outdoors, we understand that weather can sometimes make an otherwise fun farm visit less enjoyable. If poor weather is expected, please contact us at least 24 hours before your scheduled experience. We are happy to work with you to reschedule when weather conditions are likely to significantly impact your experience.Weather-related rescheduling is at the discretion of Good Pickin’ Farm and is intended for significant rain, storms, extreme temperatures, or other conditions that would substantially affect the experience—not simply less-than-perfect weather.Same-day cancellations, no-shows, and missed bookings are generally non-refundable and are not guaranteed a credit or reschedule. If Good Pickin’ Farm determines that conditions are unsafe or unsuitable and cancels your experience, you will be given the option to reschedule or receive a credit or refund.
Ticketed EventsUnless otherwise stated for a specific event, event tickets are non-refundable. Events are generally held rain or shine unless Good Pickin’ Farm determines that conditions are unsafe or the event cannot reasonably take place. If Good Pickin’ Farm cancels an event, ticket holders will be notified regarding available refund, credit, or rescheduling options.
Medical CancellationsWith appropriate medical documentation, a full credit toward a future Good Pickin’ Farm program or experiencemay be issued. Please contact us as soon as possible regarding a medical cancellation.
Snow & Severe WeatherFor school-year classes and programs, we generally follow Westford Public Schools for weather-related closures and delays.
  • If Westford Public Schools are closed or delayed, regularly scheduled farm programs beginning before 1:00 PM are cancelled.
  • Decisions regarding afternoon and evening programs will be communicated separately.
  • In the event of a State of Emergency, farm programs and activities will be cancelled.
Private bookings and special events are evaluated separately, taking into account current and forecasted conditions and the nature of the scheduled activity.
